This project renders the radiant Verse 35 from Surah An-Nur: “Allah is the Light of the heavens and the earth – الله نور السموات والأرض”. Using the fluid Decorative Diwani script, the entire verse is skillfully shaped into a wide waterdrop silhouette.
The concept is The Source of Clarity. A waterdrop symbolizes life, purity, and the refraction of light. By shaping the “Verse of Light” into this form, the calligraphy suggests that Divine guidance flows and illuminates the world like a pure drop of water. The arrangement of the Alifs and Lams acts as internal structures that guide the eye through the luminous text.
Decorative Diwani is the ultimate script, capable of bending into complex shapes while maintaining its cursive elegance. The letters are organized to fill the drop shape perfectly, creating a self-contained emblem that is both a readable verse and a piece of symbolic art.
We engineered the baseline of the verse to follow the outer curve of the drop. The final piece was vectorized for absolute precision, making it suitable for large-scale glass etching or premium prints.
Delivered as a professional vector file, this design is perfect for modern Islamic lighting fixtures, architectural glass panels, or as a sophisticated art piece for a contemporary home.
