This project presents the “Bismillah – In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful – بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم” in a breathtaking Thuluth Jali composition. The design is uniquely engineered into an almost perfectly spherical shape, highlighting the majesty of the text.
The concept is Infinite Grace. The extended Alifs and Lams are utilized as structural ribs that define the outer curve of the sphere, symbolizing the all-encompassing nature of God’s mercy. It is a modern, geometric take on the most traditional of Arabic phrases.
Thuluth Jali provides the necessary bold weight to form a geometric boundary. The intricate placement of the letters and decorative marks creates a dense, “stellar” appearance, turning the sacred text into a self-contained universe of art.
We focused on the radial symmetry of the vertical letters to ensure the spherical shape is maintained with mathematical precision. The final vector format ensures that even the most delicate vocalization marks are sharp and clear for high-end reproduction.
