This project presents the name “Hamad Alrumaithi” (حمد الرميثي) rendered in the timeless discipline of Classical Thuluth. Often referred to as the “Mother of Scripts,” Thuluth provides the perfect foundation for this name, balancing commanding verticality with the intricate, interconnected ligatures that define traditional Arabic mastery.
The concept is built on the pillars of stability and grace. We approached this composition by emphasizing the harmony between the sharp, declarative nature of the Ha and Dal, and the lyrical, expansive flow of the letters in the surname. The arrangement is designed to feel anchored yet elevated, reflecting a persona that values both foundational strength and refined detail.
We utilized the pure, unadulterated form of Classical Thuluth. This script demands an uncompromising commitment to the mizan (proportional system). By strictly adhering to the classic ratio of dot-measurements, we ensure the composition feels inherently “correct” to the trained eye, conveying a sense of authority, legitimacy, and historical depth that modern fonts simply cannot replicate.
