My Lord Have Mercy Upon Them In Arabic Calligraphy

This project conveys Verse 24 from Surah Al-Isra, a profound prayer for parents, using a harmony of three scripts: Naskh, Diwani, and Thuluth. By transitioning from the precision of Naskh to the grace of Diwani and the majesty of Thuluth, the piece reflects the depth of gratitude and humility.

The design follows a Flow of Submission. The prayer starts in a delicate, humble Naskh arc, flows into the compassionate “vase” of Diwani, and finds final strength in the grounded Thuluth horizontal line. This visual journey mimics the emotional arc of the verse.

We utilized a multi-script hierarchy: Naskh for small-scale precision, Diwani for the emotional “vase” (the heart of the prayer), and Classical Thuluth for the final, firm declaration.

The composition required meticulous planning to transition between scripts without causing visual dissonance. We mapped the “vase” shape to ensure it served as the anchor for the Naskh arch above and the Thuluth line below. The piece was vectorized, ensuring the distinct characters of all three scripts are crisp, professional, and visually unified.

Provided as a high-resolution vector file, this composition is perfect for family-oriented art, commemorative gifts, or religious stationery, offering a unique blend of elegance and structural clarity.
