My Lord Let Me Land At A Blessed Landing Place In Diwani Jali Arabic Calligraphy

This project features Verse 29 from Surah Al-Muminun: “And say: My Lord! Cause me to arrive at a blessed destination, for You are the Best of those who bring to a destination (وقل ربي انزلني منزلا مباركا وانت خير المنزلين)”. Rendered in the ornate Diwani Jali script, the text is artfully arranged in a graceful arch, creating a visual prayer of elegance and majesty.

The design focuses on Aspiration. By placing the verse in a curved, arched shape, the composition draws the viewer’s gaze upward, mirroring the act of supplication. The Diwani Jali script, with its heavy ornaments and flowing ligatures, fills the arch to create a dense, protective, and spiritually resonant visual space.

We chose Diwani Jali for its decorative richness. Its characteristic curves, dense dotting, and expressive terminals allow for a highly intricate and “majestic” aesthetic that captures the significance of seeking a “blessed destination.”

Construction involved mapping the precise arc of the arch to ensure the verse flows with a consistent rhythm. We manually refined the ligatures of the Diwani Jali to ensure they conform to the curve without losing their ornamental integrity. The final design was vectorized, ensuring every dot and curve is mathematically smooth and professional.

Delivered as a high-resolution vector file, this composition is perfect for large-scale interior wall art, commemorative plaques, or premium spiritual stationery.
