Subhan and Maimunah Two Names in Combined Diwani Arabic Calligraphy

This project captures the union of the names “Subhan and Maimunah – سبحان و ميمونة” in a bespoke design. By blending the fluid, rhythmic nature of the Decorative Diwani script with a symbolic heart-shaped silhouette, we have created an artwork that represents connection, affection, and artistic synergy.

The central vision for this piece was to merge two distinct identities into a single, cohesive shape. The heart serves as the structural frame, while the letters of both names are intricately woven through the center. This design relies on the organic flow of the names to define the heart’s curves, creating a visual metaphor where the letters themselves build the foundation of the bond between Subhan and Maimunah.

We chose the Decorative Diwani script for this composition. Unlike more rigid scripts, Diwani is celebrated for its highly cursive and expressive nature, allowing for the extreme elongation and curving of letters necessary to achieve this heart shape without compromising the calligraphic flow.

Created as a custom design for one of our clients, this project represents a sample of our professional artistic Arabic calligraphy. Our calligraphy is delivered in high resolution and includes the original vector format, allowing for full editability and seamless scaling to any size (from personalized wedding stationery and invitations to large-scale canvas art) while maintaining exceptional quality and detail.
