This highly creative project renders the ancient wisdom “This Time Will Pass – هذا الوقت سيمضي” into the iconic Yin and Yang symbol. Using the fluid Diwani script, the phrase is divided and rotated to form the two halves of the circle.
The concept is Equilibrium in Flux. The Yin and Yang represent the balance between light and dark, joy and sorrow. By placing the phrase “This time will pass” in both halves, the design reminds the viewer that neither hardship nor ease is permanent, life is a constant, balanced rotation.
Cursive Diwani was the only choice for this geometric feat. Its naturally curved and interconnected letters were meticulously engineered to fill the “teardrop” shapes of the Yin and Yang perfectly, ensuring the text remains legible while conforming to the symbol’s boundary.
We designed the first half in the white segment, then rotated and inverted the composition to fit the black segment. The challenge was ensuring the connection points felt organic and the weight of the script remained consistent. The final result is a vectorized visual marvel of calligraphic adaptability.
