This project is an artistic recreation of the historic 1927 Palestinian One Mil Coin. It features the word “Palestine – فلسطين” inscribed in Arabic, English, and Hebrew. The design stays true to the antique aesthetic of the Palestine Mandate era, complete with the vintage year and a circular frame of delicate dots.
The concept is Historical Continuity. By reviving the calligraphic layout of the 1927 currency, this piece serves as a bridge to the past. The layered trilingual text represents a specific moment in history, preserved through the lens of numismatic art. It is a tribute to the heritage and the enduring identity of the land.
The design utilizes a Classic Thuluth Arabic script paired with vintage serif typography for English and Hebrew. This combination reflects the formal, official style used in early 20th-century minting, prioritizing clarity, balance, and historical accuracy.
We reconstructed the coin’s layout from historical references, meticulously placing the small circular frames and the date “1927.” The entire design was rendered into a high-resolution vector format, allowing for modern applications while retaining its antique soul.
This vector design is perfect for historical documentaries, educational materials, heritage-themed branding, or commemorative collectors’ prints.
