This unique masterpiece combines two distinct calligraphic styles, Decorative Diwani and Classic Thuluth, into a harmonious bottom-arch composition celebrating the lotus.
The concept is Revealed Beauty. The top “Lotus Flower زهرة اللوتس” title uses complex, overlapping Diwani strokes to mimic the dense, blooming heart of a flower. Surrounding this is a graceful Thuluth arch containing the poem: “Pure petals guessed at and never seen – بتلات نقيات خُمنَت ولم تُشاهَد”. The contrast between the intricate “inner” script and the readable “outer” script creates a visual journey from mystery to clarity.
The hybrid approach uses Decorative Diwani for artistic complexity and Classic Thuluth for structural legibility. This creates a high-art “medallion” effect that transforms poetry into a geometric visual experience.
