This project presents the fundamental Islamic creed, Al Shahada: “There is no deity but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God (لا إله إلا الله محمد رسول الله)”. The text is expertly arranged in a half-spherical (crescent) shape using the majestic Thuluth Jali script.
The concept is The Rising Truth. The half-spherical arrangement mimics the horizon of a rising sun or a crescent moonm symbols of light and new beginnings in Islamic tradition. By shaping the oath of faith into this form, the design emphasizes that the Shahada is the foundational horizon upon which a believer’s life is built.
Thuluth Jali was chosen for its monumental weight and “stacking” capability. The complex arrangement of the letters creates a dense, harmonious block of text that maintains perfect balance, reflecting the unity (Tawhid) expressed in the words.
We engineered the script to conform to the semi-circle without sacrificing the traditional rules of letter proportion. The final composition was vectorized, ensuring the majestic verticality and interlocking curves are perfectly preserved for high-tier printing or architectural display.
