This creative project features the logo for “The Black Eyes – سود العيون” rendered in the fluid Shaped Diwani script. The names are skillfully woven together to form a beautiful waterdrop or tear silhouette.
The concept is The Liquid Vision. The tear-shape suggests the depth of a gaze and the poetic nature of “Black Eyes.” The cursive nature of the Diwani script allows the letters to overlap and interlock, filling the drop shape with a sense of movement and mystery.
Shaped Diwani is the perfect medium for this “mosaic” approach. The letters of “Sood” and “Al-Uyoon” are curved to form the rounded base and the sharp apex of the drop, resulting in a balanced and highly artistic brand mark.
