This project features Verse 39 from Surah Taha: “In order that you may be brought up under My eye (ولتصنع على عيني)”. The composition is a horizontal masterclass in the use of the ‘Ain (ع) letter, showcasing how the Diwani Jali script achieves visual balance through deliberate character repetition and connection.
The concept is Divine Focus. The repetitive, harmonious use of the ‘Ain across the key words emphasizes the “eye” described in the verse. The design is clean and intentional, using the Diwani Jali’s complexity to create a focal point of balance and symmetry.
Diwani Jali was chosen for its ability to create intricate, balanced ligatures. The ‘Ain is a particularly expressive letter in this script, and its orchestration in this verse serves as the backbone of the composition’s majesty.
We aligned the three ‘Ain letters along the horizontal axis, ensuring their sizes and ornaments were perfectly consistent. We then wove the surrounding text around these anchors. The final piece was vectorized, with careful attention to the density of the ornamental dots that characterize the Jali style.
This vector file is perfect for sophisticated home art, spiritual branding, or elegant stationery, where technical precision and classical balance are required.
