This logo project presents the identity “Mearza – ميارزة” in Classical Thuluth script. The objective was to craft a mark that feels both rooted in the rich traditions of Arabic calligraphy and sharp enough to serve as a modern corporate emblem.
The design philosophy behind this logo focused on the interplay between the sweeping curves of the “Mee-m”and the vertical authority of the “Aleph”. By arranging the letters to form a compact, circular-inspired silhouette, the logo gains a balanced sense of weight. This composition allows for high versatility, ensuring the name is immediately recognizable while maintaining an air of professional prestige.
We opted for the Classical Thuluth script because of its inherent stability and visual discipline. Unlike more decorative scripts, Classical Thuluth relies on clean, strong lines and precise geometric proportions. This makes it an excellent choice for a logo that needs to project confidence, clarity, and enduring professionalism in a business context.
Every stroke was hand-drawn to ensure the anatomical correctness of each letter. A major challenge in this specific design was harmonizing the connecting strokes between the “Yaa” and the “Zaa”, ensuring the transition felt smooth rather than forced. We manually adjusted the kerning and the height of the letters to create a perfectly balanced visual anchor for the brand.
Created as a custom design for one of our clients, this logo serves as a unique visual foundation for the Mearza brand.
