This project showcases the name “Saja Al Taweel – سجى الطويل” in the fluid and decorative Diwani script. The characters are joined in a unique, non-traditional manner, featuring elongated flourishes on the vertical letters to enhance the creative flow of the design.
The concept is Graceful Extension. Given the meaning of the surname “Al Taweel” (The Long/Tall), the calligraphy uses the inherent “stretch” of the Diwani script to play with verticality. The result is a name that feels like it is dancing across the page, elegant, light, and full of personality.
