In this beautiful and complex Arabic calligraphy, Surah Al-Falaq (The Daybreak – سورة الفلق) is artistically presented in the Thuluth script. At the center, in a circular shape, the verse “Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of the daybreak” is gracefully inscribed. Surrounding this central verse, the remainder of the surah “From the evil of whatever He has created, and from the evil of the night when it grows dark, and from the evil of those witches casting spells by blowing onto knots, and from the evil of an envier when they envy.” is elegantly written in classical Thuluth script in a circular arrangement. The verses are a plea for protection from various evils, including those associated with the night and supernatural harm. Adding to the intricate design, the Bismillah is written on top in a beautiful mirrored style Thuluth Jali script, forming the shape of a crown that embellishes the circular calligraphy underneath. This artistic representation not only conveys the protective essence of Surah Al-Falaq but also showcases the skillful use of different Thuluth script styles and creative design elements, creating a visually captivating and spiritually meaningful composition.
