This project is a rare feat of calligraphic engineering: the Bismillah “In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful / بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم” masterfully shaped into an eagle with expansive open wings. Executed in the rigid and prestigious Thuluth Jali script, it represents a pinnacle of figurative art.
The concept is The Uplifting Word. The eagle, a symbol of strength and vision, is composed entirely of the letters of the Bismillah. The “wings” carry the prayer upward, symbolizing the spiritual elevation that comes from beginning every action in the name of the Divine.
Thuluth Jali is notoriously difficult to manipulate due to its strict proportional rules. We pushed the boundaries of the script’s flexibility to ensure the letters form the bird’s anatomy, the head, body, and flight feathers, without compromising the traditional integrity of the script.
Every letter was painstakingly stretched and curved to fit the silhouette of the eagle. The final composition was vectorized, ensuring that the powerful “V” shape of the wings and the intricate interlocking of the letters remain flawless at any scale.
As a high-resolution vector original, this artwork is an iconic choice for cultural exhibitions, symbolic logos, or as a bold, large-scale statement piece in a modern interior.
