This project presents a masterful personal identity for “Nassim Nour – نسيم نور”. Written in Decorative Arabic Diwani calligraphy, the composition is meticulously engineered into a fluid, drop-shaped silhouette that captures the ethereal essence of the name’s meaning.
The concept is The Illuminated Breeze. By placing “Nour” (Light) as the firm foundation and “Nassim” (Gentle Breeze) ascending above it, the design reflects a natural hierarchy of elements. The centerpiece is the dramatic extension of the letter Mīm at the end of Nassim, which sweeps downward in a cursive embrace to cradle the name Nour, unifying the two words into a single, balanced artistic breath.
Decorative Diwani is the perfect script for this concept. Its inherent flexibility allows for the addition of ornamental floral elements that sprout from the Mim letter extension, seamlessly connecting with the rest of the script. This creates a lush, organic texture that mirrors the “soft wind” and “radiance” found in the name’s Arabic origins.
We focused on the gravitational balance of the drop shape, ensuring the cursive curves provide a sense of movement without losing structural integrity. The final artwork was vectorized, preserving every delicate floral detail and sharp pen-stroke for high-end luxury applications.
