This project transforms a Wedding Invitation (دعوة زفاف) into a high-art document. Crafted in Classical Thuluth, the design includes romantic poetry, honorific titles for the families, and a concluding Quranic verse on marriage, all arranged in a sophisticated, vertical hierarchy.
The concept is Cultural Nobility. By utilizing the Thuluth script, the invitation moves beyond mere information to become an heirloom. The inclusion of poetry and family titles (“El-Sayed”) respects the deep-seated traditions of hospitality and lineage, while the Quranic verse at the base anchors the celebration in spiritual significance.
Classical Thuluth provides the necessary formality and “royal” feel required for life’s most important milestones. The script is layered to create a sense of depth, bold and captivating for the title, and refined and graceful for the poetic verses and parentage.
We designed the layout with intentional “white space” to allow for personalized names to be added without disrupting the calligraphic harmony. The final design was vectorized for absolute clarity, ensuring it remains stunning whether printed with gold foil or traditional letterpress.
