This creative logo design transforms the Arabic greeting “Ya Hala – يا هلا” (Welcome) into a symbolic waterdrop silhouette. Using Thuluth Jali, the word “Ya” forms the protective drop, while “Hala” is nestled within, with its Lam and Alif letters extending gracefully outward.
The concept is The Refreshment of Greeting. A waterdrop is a symbol of life and purity; by shaping the “Ya” as a drop, the design suggests that a warm welcome is a refreshing gift to the guest. The extension of the Lam-Alif acts as a welcoming gesture, “reaching out” to the visitor.
Thuluth Jali was modified here for “figurative” purposes. The script’s flexibility allowed us to curve the “Ya” into a teardrop shape while maintaining its traditional calligraphic integrity. The result is a logo that is both a functional brand and a unique work of art.
We carefully balanced the inner text (“Hala”) to ensure it remained legible while perfectly framed by the “Ya.” The extensions were designed to provide a sense of movement. The final logo was vectorized, ensuring it remains sharp on everything from business cards to large hospitality signage.
As a professional vector logo, this design is the ultimate choice for boutique hotels, traditional Arabic restaurants, or any brand that prides itself on exceptional hospitality and cultural warmth.
