Allah Is The Ally Of Those Who Believe In Thuluth Arabic Calligraphy

This project presents Verse 257 of Surah Al-Baqarah: “Allah is the ally of those who believe… (الله ولي الذين آمنوا…)”. By combining Classical Thuluth with a circular Thuluth Jali inset, the design creates a visual journey from the “foundational” promise to the “illuminated” result.

The concept is The Path of Illumination. The horizontal Classical Thuluth establishes the “Ally” (Allah), while the circular Jali section represents the “Light” (An-Nur). The special extensions of the Yaa and Aleph create a sacred bridge between these two states, mirroring the spiritual transition described in the verse.

We utilized Classical Thuluth for the main horizontal verse for its majestic clarity, and Thuluth Jali for the circular inset to add a layer of decorative, focused intensity to the “Light” portion of the text.

A special extension is skillfully used with the Yaa and Aleph letters to seamlessly combine the two words while creating an aesthetically pleasing space between them. Within this space, the verse continues with “He brings them out from darknesses into the light – يخرجهم من الظلمات إلى النور” elegantly written in circular Thuluth Jali script.

We meticulously extended the letters to create the necessary “negative space” for the circular inset. The two scripts were balanced to ensure neither overwhelmed the other. The final piece was vectorized, preserving the delicate transition from horizontal lines to circular curves.

Delivered as a professional vector file, this composition is perfect for high-end gallery prints, architectural glass, or specialized Quranic publications that value artistic depth.
