This artistic family emblem features the names of the parents, Amjad and Doa (امجد و دعاء), in Thuluth Jali, intricately shaped into the form of a pear. With the children’s names, Amr and Ruden (رودين و عمرو), represented as leaves on the branch, this piece serves as a permanent, high-caliber visual tribute to family unity.
The concept is centered on Growth and Connection. By utilizing the long verticality of the Aleph to construct the pear’s silhouette, the parents’ names become the foundation. The children’s names, positioned as leaves on a crowning branch, symbolize the flourishing of the family tree, rooted in the strength of the parents.
Thuluth Jali was chosen for its weight and formal authority. Its ability to create interlocking ligatures allows us to weave multiple names into a singular, cohesive shape without sacrificing the legibility of any individual name.
We constructed the pear silhouette by mirroring the curves of the parents’ names. The branch and leaves were then “attached” to the top by extending the Aleph ligatures. After refining the ink sketch, the design was vectorized, with careful attention to the connections between the four names to ensure a perfectly seamless, professional-grade emblem.
