The primary phrase is executed in the majestic Thuluth Jali script, while the completion of the prayer, referencing the vastness of creation and God’s words, is delicately inscribed beneath it in the poetic Nastaliq script.
The concept is The Weight of Worship. By using the bold, architectural Thuluth Jali for the main praise and the fluid, grounded Nastaliq for the specific measures (“by the quantity of His creation, by His Pleasure, by the weight of His Throne, and by the extent of His Words – عدد خلقه ورضا نفسه وزنة عرشه ومداد كلماته”), the design visually represents the transition from a grand declaration to a detailed, humble submission.
This piece is a masterclass in script hierarchy. Thuluth Jali provides the “canopy” of the artwork, while Nastaliq adds a soft, flowing foundation. This combination is rare and highly sought after for its ability to convey both strength and literary elegance.
We balanced the dense, interlocking letters of the Thuluth Jali to ensure “Allah” remained the focal point. The Nastaliq text below was meticulously aligned to act as a supportive base. The final design was vectorized, ensuring that the sharp terminals of the Thuluth and the graceful slopes of the Nastaliq are perfectly preserved.
