This project presents the prayer “God Bless Our Home – يا رب بارك بيتنا” in the elegant Thuluth Jali script. A creative highlight of this piece is the transformation of the Alif letter into the shape of an Arabesque arched doorway, turning the text into a literal entrance of blessing.
The concept is The Threshold of Grace. By shaping the Alif as an archway, the calligraphy acts as a symbolic gate to the home. It suggests that by reading the prayer, one is spiritually entering a space protected and blessed by God. The fusion of architecture and script highlights the harmony between the home and the Divine.
The Thuluth Jali script provides the necessary weight to ground the “doorway” structure. The letters are intricately joined to form the base of the arch, while the decorative Tashkil elements act as the ornamental carvings of the “entrance.”
We focused on the architectural symmetry of the central Alif to ensure it functioned both as a letter and a doorway. The entire composition was vectorized to ensure that the subtle Arabesque curves remain sharp for applications such as laser cutting or high-end printing.
Delivered as a professional vector file, this design is the perfect choice for laser-cut wood signs, glass etchings for home entrances, or luxury greeting cards.
