This project creates a prestigious brand identity for “Al Basha – الباشا”. Using the decorative Diwani script, the design captures the social elite essence of the early 20th-century Ottoman “Pasha” (Pashawat) class, a title synonymous with wisdom, authority, and high social standing.
The concept is Vintage Sophistication. The “Basha” was a figure of wisdom and class; by using the highly ornamental Diwani script, the logo reflects that same level of intricacy and elite craftsmanship. The decorative elements are designed to evoke the “Belle Époque” era of the Middle East, blending historical weight with artistic flair.
Decorative Diwani is the “script of the chanceries,” historically used for royal decrees. Its cursive, interlocking letters form a dense, sophisticated block that functions as a self-contained seal, making it ideal for a brand that wants to project a “premium heritage” image.
We integrated classical Ottoman motifs into the letterforms to enhance the “Basha” aesthetic. The entire logo was vectorized, ensuring that the fine decorative lines and complex ligatures remain sharp and recognizable on everything from menus to luxury packaging.
Delivered as an original vector format, this design is the perfect choice for high-end cafes, heritage restaurants, boutique tobacco brands, or any business aiming for a “Pasha-level” status.
