This project features a high-density logo for “The Black Eyes – سود العيون”. Executed in Thuluth Jali, the design focuses on a compact, complex composition where the letters are masterfully stacked and intertwined.
The concept is The Intense Gaze. Thuluth Jali is known for its “mosaic” effect. By interlocking the letters of “Sood” and “Al-Uyoon,” the design creates a visual weight that commands attention, symbolizing a brand with a powerful and focused presence.
Thuluth Jali allows for the dense interlocking of words within a tight boundary. The vertical strokes reach upward while the traditional decorative marks fill the negative space, creating a “jewelry-like” finish that is both royal and structurally complex.
We engineered the stacking to ensure that despite the complexity, the brand remains readable to the trained eye. The final vector format provides the high-contrast lines needed for luxury applications where precision is paramount.
