This project offers a unique rendering of the name “Muhammad Ibrahim Oduncu – محمد ابراهيم اودونجو” in the Ottoman Tughra style. By utilizing the Thuluth script within the Tughra framework, the design achieves a rare balance of complexity and readability.
The concept is Legible Heritage. While traditional Tughras can be abstract, this “Modern Tughra” ensures the name remains accessible while maintaining the iconic, centuries-old silhouette. It celebrates the historical form while serving the practical needs of modern personal branding.
The Thuluth-Tughra hybrid uses the more rounded and clear strokes of Thuluth for the internal name. The three towers and sweeping loops are maintained, but the script itself is rendered with a focus on artistic clarity and “tashkil” decoration.
We engineered the name to flow through the “sere” (base) and up into the loops of the Tughra seamlessly. The final piece was vectorized, ensuring that the majestic verticality and intricate loops are preserved for premium branding applications.
